Nocturn Films
The Art of Horror Short Films
You need to spend more time in the light...
Crafting Fear,
One Frame at a Time
Nocturn Films is an independent horror production channel dedicated to creating cinematic short films that push the boundaries of suspense, atmosphere, and psychological terror. Every frame is crafted with intention -- from the slow build of dread to the moment that makes you check the shadows behind you.
Founded by Cade Jackman with films written and directed by his brother Bryce Jackman, the channel was born from a shared obsession with the horror community. Together, they bring a tight-knit crew of filmmakers, actors, and editors into every project -- proving that horror doesn't need a massive budget to be genuinely unsettling. It just needs storytelling that stays with you long after the screen goes dark.
From the emotional weight of On Hospice to the eerie tension of The Candle Man, each film explores a different shade of fear. New films are released on YouTube -- subscribe to never miss a premiere.
Our Films
Each film is a self-contained nightmare -- crafted to disturb, captivate, and linger in the dark corners of your mind.
Don't Trust the Tap Water
Something is wrong with the water. What starts as a simple warning becomes a descent into paranoia and body horror when the tap runs with more than just water.
On Hospice
A haunting exploration of grief and the supernatural, where the line between the living and the dying begins to blur in terrifying ways.
Echo
When strange sounds begin repeating through an empty house, one person must confront the source before the echoes become something far worse.
The Candle Man
An urban legend comes to life when a flickering candle reveals a figure that should not exist -- and it knows you're watching.
ReWrite
A writer discovers that the words they put on paper are rewriting reality itself -- but every correction comes with a cost.
Zero
A countdown begins with no explanation. As the numbers fall toward zero, the terror of what happens at the end becomes unbearable.
Don't Trust the Tap Water
Our newest release taps into a primal fear hiding in plain sight. When the water from the faucet starts behaving in ways it shouldn't, one person's routine night turns into a waking nightmare. Something has contaminated more than just the pipes -- and by the time you notice, it may already be too late.
